Qualitative Research

I study workflows and practices in the contexts that I am interested in, paying close attention to social dynamics and intersections such as class, gender, caste, and religion. I employ qualitative methods such as interviews, focus groups, and observations, with a focus on long-term ethnographic engagements with communities. I have ongoing engagements with two communities: a three-year long relationship with frontline health workers in an underserved region in Delhi, and a year-long collaboration with youth from slum communities in Mumbai.
